The University of Kalyani is a state public university, established on November 1, 1960, located at Kalyani Town, West Bengal, India. The University covers an area of 400 acres in Kalyani town, with the national highway (N.H.34) on one side and the river Ganga on the other. The University is recognised by the UGC (University Grants Commission) and has been accreditated by The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) as a Three Star Level University for the period of 5 years from May 30, 2001.
